Low Carbon Agriculture Show 2025 Recap

Cefetra Ecosystem Services attended the Low Carbon Agriculture Show 2025 on 5th and 6th March at NAEC Stoneleigh

At the show we connected with farmers, landowners, and industry experts committed to sustainable farming practices. The event underscored the growing importance of reducing emissions and adopting low-carbon solutions across agriculture, focusing on regenerative practices that enhance soil health and biodiversity while boosting farm profitability.

One of the standout moments for Cefetra was our panel discussion, where Uwe Schröder, Head of Cefetra Ecosystem Services, joined Matt Culley, a farmer in our programme, William Butler from Whitworth Bros Ltd, and Alexia Robinson from We Love British Food. Together, the panel was chaired by Matthew Anderson-Parker from WRAP. They explored the practicalities of integrating sustainable farming outcomes into the supply chain, discussing the challenges and opportunities in adopting low-carbon practices and the potential of UK produced food in public procurement.  The panel was well received, and many attendees visited our stand to continue the conversation on how we can support them in reducing emissions and improving farming practices.

As the event concluded, it was clear that sustainable farming is gaining momentum and that it will increase resilience of food chains and foster innovation with the support of the food supply chains and stakeholders such as banks and inputs providers.  Cefetra is committed to providing the tools and expertise to help achieve Net Zero while supporting resilient and profitable farming systems. We look forward to increasing out collaboration with farmers and industry partners to deliver practical, sustainable solutions for the future of agriculture
